Kajal Agarwal Pairs With Akshay Kumar

Kajal Agarwal, a popular name down South in the Telugu and Tamil film industries has her priorities set right, to carve a pan Indian image for herself. The actress has bagged yet another biggie in Bollywood and has signed a film opposite the Khiladi himself, Akshay Kumar! The film that bears the working title 'Special Chabbis', will be helmed by Neeraj Pandey of 'A Wednesday' fame that is based on a 1987 jewellery heist in Mumbai. Remember the director is known for his close to reality approach? His 'A Wednesday' had garnered critical acclaim and was remade in Tamil as 'Unnaipol Oruvan' with Kamal Haasan and Mohan Lal, two top notch actorsin the south. Kajal made her B-town debut with 'Singham' (a remake of Suriya starrer 'Singam'), which became a blockbuster hit. It is further said that Akshay was smitten by her performance and found her apt for this film and was keen in featuring her as his lead lady. She currently has two biggies in Tamil with actors Vijay and Suriya. The going is indeed great for Kajal! The pretty damsel will start work on the film come March 9.

Rajamouli Eega release date confirmed

Star director SS Rajamouli's graphical extravaganza Eega release date has been confirmed. The sci-fi fantasy flick Eega is hitting the screens in Telugu and Tamil on April 12. The expectations on the film are high since it's the product of Rajamouli who has a huge brand. Eega is made with high technical values and the director has incorporated new technology that was never seen before in Telugu cinema. The audio launch will happen shortly. Keeravani composed the music for the movie. Eega stars Nani, Samantha, Sudeep in the lead roles while the entire story revolves around a housefly Eega that seeks revenge on the person that led him to death in previous birth. Senthil cranked the camera for the film.

Actor cum Director Lawrence Ragavendra Started Muni 3

Lawrence Ragavendra got a very great victory in the Kanchana Muni 2 and silently he is directing a Telugu Movie starring Prabhas. Actress Genelia entered in Limca Record Book

When things are going well for you, everything, even things that you had done long back seem to align themselves in your favour. That seems to be the case with Genelia right now. She seems to be going through one of the best phases of her life at the moment. Her wedding to long time beau Ritesh Deshmukh happened just a few weeks back and then there was the film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, which had her along side her husband, releasing on Feb 24. It is now gaining momentum at the box office. If the marriage was the cake and the movie was the icing, then there is also a cherry on top in the form of an announcement by the Limca Book of World Records. Genelia has entered the Limca Book for the unique feat of featuring in superhits of 4 different languages in the same year. The year is 2008 and the films were Santhosh Subramaniam in Tamil, Ready in Telugu (that became Uthamaputhiran in Tamil), Satya In Love in Kannada and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in Hindi. Now, it looks like this feat was waiting all these years to make an appearance during this high phase of Genelia's life.
